Choose a target file size
Starts at 1 MB (1024 KB). Pick a different quick size or type the exact limit in KB. Sizes use 1024 bytes per KB.
Limits and supported files

JPG, PNG and WebP images. The result is always a JPG. See-through areas in PNG or WebP become white.

A target size is an aim. A detailed photo may need fewer pixels to fit, and very small targets can make faces or text hard to read.

Photos above about 16.7 million pixels are reduced to that size first. Choose up to 100 images at a time.

Tested in Chromium, Firefox and WebKit.

Questions

Does compressing to 1 MB upload my photo?

No. The photo stays on this device, and nothing is uploaded or kept by localipdf.
