These terms apply when you use localipdf, a free document service operated by Vick. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
Using the service
localipdf provides free document tools as-is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file or error-free results. Keep your original documents and check exported files, especially important text, numbers, signatures and redactions.
Your right to modify files
Use these tools only on documents you own or have permission to process. You are responsible for the right to unlock a file, remove information, edit saved details or add a signature. A tool being able to make a change does not establish your permission or make a signature legally valid.
Your documents
Document processing happens in your browser. We do not receive or store your documents on a processing server. Your browser holds working files until you refresh or close the page; files you download remain on your device. See the privacy policy for app caches, saved preferences and website analytics.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe other people’s rights, forge documents, misrepresent a signature, distribute harmful content or interfere with the website or other users.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties and the operator is not responsible for losses caused by unavailable tools, conversion errors or reliance on output you have not checked. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Applicable law and your rights
People around the world can use localipdf. These terms do not select an exclusive country, court or arbitration process. Applicable law and the courts available to you are determined by the legal rules that apply to your circumstances. Nothing in these terms removes consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
