- Starts at 10 KB. Pick a different quick size or type the exact limit in KB. Sizes use 1024 bytes per KB.
Limits and supported files
JPG, PNG and WebP images. The result is always a JPG. See-through areas in PNG or WebP become white.
A target size is an aim. A detailed photo may need fewer pixels to fit, and very small targets can make faces or text hard to read.
Photos above about 16.7 million pixels are reduced to that size first. Choose up to 100 images at a time.
Tested in Chromium, Firefox and WebKit.
Questions
How small does a photo get to fit within 10 KB?
Usually a few hundred pixels wide. The tool lowers the quality first, then reduces the pixel size until the file is within 10 KB.
Will my signature still be clear at 10 KB?
A dark signature on white paper usually stays clear. Crop away the empty paper around it first, so the pixels go to the signature.
What if my image will not fit within 10 KB?
The page says so and gives you the smallest version it made. Crop the image closer and try again.
Is my signature uploaded to make it 10 KB?
No. It is compressed in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
