Remove pages help

Delete unwanted pages from a PDF and save the remaining pages as a new document. Review the previews first so covers, attachments and intentionally blank pages are kept when needed.

How to use Remove pages

  1. Choose your PDF and select the previews of the pages you want to delete.
  2. Alternatively, enter unwanted page numbers or ranges in Pages (leave blank for all). Selected previews override this field.
  3. Check the highlights. If using Find blank pages, review every suggestion so faint writing is not removed by mistake.
  4. Click Remove selected pages, then Download. Open the result to check that the pages you need remain.
Options explained
Pages (leave blank for all)
Enter unwanted pages or ranges. Selected previews override typed page numbers, so check what is highlighted.
Blank page sensitivity
Adjust how much marked content a page may have while still being suggested as blank. Review faint pages before removal.
Keep bookmarks
Retain supported destinations on remaining pages; links to removed pages cannot be kept.
Make form entries permanent
Shown when a PDF has interactive form fields. Keep the visible answers while making them uneditable in the new file. Digital signatures will no longer verify; keep the signed original.
Undo and Redo
Step backward or forward through workspace changes before saving. Your original PDF is not overwritten.
Jump to page and Thumbnail size
Use Go to find a page preview, or resize the previews for easier inspection. These controls do not change the saved page size.
All, None, Odd, Even and Select range
Select a group of page previews quickly. Enter page numbers in Select range and click Select, then check the highlighted pages before applying changes.
Remove from preview
Hide the selected pages from the current arrangement before saving. Undo restores them if you change your mind.

Questions

Does this erase my original PDF?

No. The tool creates a new file. Your original document stays on your device, so you can start again if you remove something you later need.

Can I also move the remaining pages?

Use Organize PDF when you want to reorder, duplicate or rotate pages as well as remove them. Use Extract pages if selecting a few pages to keep is easier than selecting many to remove.

Can I remove several page ranges at once?

Enter unwanted pages or ranges. Selected previews override typed page numbers, so check what is highlighted.

How do I remove blank pages without losing faint scans?

Click Find blank pages, then inspect its highlighted suggestions. Lower Blank page sensitivity if faint marks are being selected. Suggestions are never removed automatically.
