Questions
Does cropping permanently delete hidden content?
No. Cropping changes the visible page area; content outside that area can remain in the PDF. Use Redact PDF when you need confidential content permanently removed from the exported copy.
Can automatic trimming miss faint marks?
Yes. Faint writing, thin lines or textured backgrounds can affect whitespace detection. Review every suggested edge before saving, especially on scans, handwritten pages and documents with notes near a margin.
Can I crop a PDF by entering exact margins?
Set margins around the visible page. Cropping hides content without erasing it.
Can I crop only selected pages?
Choose which pages share the crop; review pages with different sizes.
